Prémio Joana Abranches Pinto 2010 Atribuído a JUN SHIRASU

O Prémio Joana Abranches Pinto, atribuido pela Embaixada de Portugal em Tóquio, destina-se a premiar indivíduos de nacionalidade japonesa ou portuguesa cujos trabalhos se tenham destacado na promoção das relações Luso-Nipónicas, no domínio cultural. O Prémio tem origem na dádiva da Sra. D. Joana Abranches Pinto, antiga Vice-Cônsul da Embaixada de Portugal em Tóquio.

O premiado da edição 2010, dedicada às Artes Plásticas, é o artista Jun Shirasu.

<Sobre o artista>

1990 Licenciatura  pela Universidade de Belas Artes de Musashino, no Curso de Gravura.
1993 Curso de Gravura na Slade School of Fine Arts em Londres.

~Trabalhos~

1993 Colaboração com Bartolomeu Cid dos Santos, na execução do painel comemorativo do 450º aniversário das relações Luso-Nipónicas, estação de metropolitano de Nihonbashi, Tóquio.
1997 Colaboração com Bartololmeu Cid dos Santos na execução do painel no Museu de Macau
1998 Colaboração com Bartolomeu Cid dos Santos na execução do painel “Peregrinação – No Japão” , estação do Pragal, Portugal
2007 Execução do painel de azulejo “Três Jardins”, estação de Palmela, Portugal.
2010 Participação na exposição comemorativa dos 150º aniversário da assinatura do Tratado de Paz, Amizade e Comércio entre Portugal e o Japão, “Portugal, Arte e Posia”, organizada pela Embaixada de Portugal em Tóquio.
2011 Exposição individual na ART BASE 1 em Macau.

 Joana Abranches Pinto Award

Joana Abranches Pinto is an award given by the Embassy of Portugal in Tokyo to individuals of either Japanese or Portuguese nationalities, whose works have contributed to the promotion of the relationship between Portugal and JapanThe Award was established in 2008 by a donation from Ms. Joana Abranches Pinto, former Vice-Consul of the Embassy of Portugal in Tokyo.

The 2010 award is being given to Mr. Jun Shirasu, for his work with Portuguese style tiles.

ジョアナ・アブランシェス・ピント賞

ジョアナ・アブランシェス・ピント賞とは、ポルトガル大使館の元副領事ジョアナ・アブランシェス・ピント氏の寄付金を基金とし、ポルトガルと日本の文化面における相互理解の発展を目的として創設されました。

同賞は、各回に特定の分野を限定し募集を行いますが、第一回にあたる今年度は、美術の分野において特にすぐれた作品を制作し日ポ両国の文化を融合しているとみなされた芸術家に授与されます。

厳正なる審査の結果、第一回ジョアナ・アブランシェス・ピント賞はアズレージョタイル作家の白須純氏に授与されることと決定いたしました。

<白須純氏 略歴と作品>
 
                                
1965年東京生まれ。武蔵野美術大学油絵科版画コース卒業。1993年国立ロンドン大学スレード美術学校版画科修了。パブリックアートとして、営団地下鉄日本橋駅・日本ポルトガル修好450周年記念壁画(共同制作)、マカオ博物館エントランスホール壁画(共同制作)、アマドーラ市プラガール駅大夫壁画(共同制作)、パルメラ駅タイル壁画。2010年にポルトガル大使館主催による日本ポルトガル修好通商条約記念美術展『ポルトガルのこころ~ポエジーとアート~』に出品。
